Nicki Wilcox Show Jumping offers riding lessons, complete horse training, and exceptional care and boarding. 

​

With extensive experience riding and coaching to championships throughout the United States and Canada, Nicki excels at starting young horses and training them for their first shows all the way up to Grand Prix and upper level amateur classes. She is excited to offer riding lessons and coaching for both amateurs and juniors. She has taken riders from beginners to upper USEF level jumping classes.

 

Nicki can tailor training rides and lessons packages to meet the needs of you and your special equine partner. Nicki has a philosophy of keeping her lessons small or private, epitomizing an individualized program for each unique horse and rider.

Nicki also specializes in finding that special creature and travels to Europe to help clients import exceptional partners. When it comes time to sell, Nicki can also assist with sales.

Nicki has been riding and teaching professionally since 2002 (while in college). She began training and coaching under Dion Dana, co-founder of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association. In 2007, Nicki moved to Calgary, Canada where she rode under Frank Selinger, bronze medalist for the Canada at the Pan Am Games.  In Canada, Nicki rode several young horses to Western Canadian Young Jumper Futurity Champions as well as showing at Spruce Meadows. While there, she acquired her Grand Prix Jumper J.E.S. Quito as a 3 year old, bringing him to the Grand Prix levels back home in Colorado. While in Canada, she had the unique opportunity to interview many international Grand Prix riders who were showing at Spruce Meadows as she reported for Phelps Media.

Since returning to Colorado in 2012, Nicki has trained several young horses to their first Grand Prix and trained riders to the Amateur Owner and Junior Jumpers. Nicki's riders impress us with how quckly they learn and improve.
